Notes on heating: Heating your plastic reptile cage is easier than heating a glass screened top tank. All the same a single cage in a room not heated specifically for keeping reptiles may require additional heat. All under tank heat is meant to be a hot spot, it will give you a great basking area, but may only heat the ambient temperature of the cage up 10 degrees above the rooms temperature. This is just the nature of how all under tank heat works.
If you need an all in one type heater that will heat the whole cage in a room you have temps set in comfortable for you, (cooler temps like 70) we recommend Radiant heat panels from Pro-heat www.pro-products.com You may have to email and ask for pricing giving the average room temps, cage size and what is being kept to get the right panel for you. It will be worth it to you to take the extra few minutes. Let them know you came from Constrictors Northwest.

Tips: 1. A thermostat plugged into a simple timer can turn your heat off for a few hours creating night drop.
2. Multiple thermostats controlling a stack of cages makes it easier to keep different levels within the stack the right temps.
3. Numbering the plug with a label that powers the heat to each cage will make it easy to figure out what heater is plugged in where.
