Our modular come as a kit you assemble, all cages are fully assembled, fitted precisely, and then break down to ship flat. You put the pre made interlocking parts together at home. Our cages take very few screws to assemble compared to other modular type cages. This is done through our interlocking joinery, we are the first and only company to take this extra step to make it stronger, easier, and more cost effective for you!
The material used on Pro-line modular cages is still the best and safest HDPE plastic but is now marine grade HDPE. It is designed for use in a harsh marine environments on ships. It is UV resistant, it is safe to use for you and your animal. Both USDA and FDA approved, meaning it is safe enough to eat off of. The plastic is 3/8ths inch thick and more rigid than typical HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) because it has 3 layers, a solid layer a slightly expanded layer and another solid layer give it a plywood like effect with an inner grain like wood to resist sagging. To top it off it is made of recycled plastic and is 35% lighter than standard HDPE plastic of the same thickness.
This plastic is ultimately chemical resistant meaning nothing sticks to it.. This makes these cages super easy to clean, the plastic won't stain, and nothing can bond to it.
All cages have slotted vents on the back wall for proper airflow.
All cages are stackable, with our stacking rails, they can also use a screw at the front center of the ceiling to literally fasten them together, and eliminate sagging over the door.
All cages are made of premium grade recycled plastic made in the USA!

Double cages are 2 cages built to bolt together in the center with a full pass through in the center making the 2 cages one ultimately large cage. There is a small 1.5 inch tall lip between the cages for structure.
